The successful candidate will be comfortable driving delivery with minimal oversight—someone who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep things on track across multiple stakeholders. You'll support a range of initiatives, including process improvements and advisor transitions, helping to ensure smooth execution and measurable outcomes.
This is a permanent, full-time position open to candidates across Canada. The role is fully remote, with a slight preference for candidates based in the Toronto/GTA area.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage business and technology projects within a wealth management environment
- Support project scoping, planning, and execution across internal teams and third-party vendors
- Maintain project timelines, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure delivery stays on track
- Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders
- Assist with data-related or system transition workstreams, applying appropriate quality checks
- Support change, release, and testing activities, including UAT coordination
- Ensure all projects align with Canadian financial services regulations and internal compliance policies
- Operate independently and flag risks or blockers early
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in banking, wealth management, or other financial services
- Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong grasp of core PM tools and practices (e.g., delivery plans, RAID, status tracking)
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with systems integration or vendor coordination workstreams
- Working knowledge of Canadian compliance and data governance requirements is a plus
- Experience supporting on-prem to cloud transitions or system/process migrations
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
- Exposure to organizational change management or internal communications during project delivery
- Basic SQL or data validation experience
- CA$90,000 to CA$120,000 annually, 9-10% performance bonus, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
- Completed background checks will be required before the start date if you are selected as a winning candidate.
